Anxiety: Anxiety can become more prevalent with age, and older adults may experience feelings of worry, fear, and nervousness. Cognitive decline: Age-related cognitive decline can affect memory, attention, and decision-making abilities. Dementia: Dementia is a progressive decline in cognitive function that can lead to memory loss and difficulties with communication and daily activities. Substance abuse: Substance abuse can become a problem for older adults, as they may use drugs or alcohol to cope with stress, physical pain, or loneliness. It is important for older adults to seek professional help if they experience any of these challenges, as early treatment can improve outcomes and enhance quality of life.
