Autorenrichtlinien

Die Zeitschrift für Kinder- und Jugendgesundheit ist eine interdisziplinäre Forschungszeitschrift zur Veröffentlichung originaler Forschungsarbeiten in allen wichtigen Disziplinen der Kinder- und Jugendgesundheit.

Manuskripte werden mit der Maßgabe entgegengenommen, dass sie nicht veröffentlicht wurden oder nicht für eine Veröffentlichung an anderer Stelle in Betracht gezogen werden. Manuskripte werden auf der Grundlage der Empfehlungen der Gutachter angenommen. Veröffentlichte Beiträge werden alleiniges Eigentum der Zeitschrift für Kinder- und Jugendgesundheit und unterliegen dem Urheberrecht der Zeitschrift.

Open-Access-Richtlinie

Forschungsarbeiten, die in elektronischen Versionen der Zeitschrift für Kinder- und Jugendgesundheit veröffentlicht wurden, dürfen von einzelnen Wissenschaftlern und Forschern frei eingesehen, kopiert und gedruckt werden.

Erklärung der Originalität, der Urheberschaft und des konkurrierenden Interesses im Namen aller Autoren des Manuskripts .

Dieses Manuskript basiert auf einem Originalwerk und wurde weder ganz noch teilweise in gedruckten oder elektronischen Medien veröffentlicht oder es wird eine Veröffentlichung in gedruckten oder elektronischen Medien in Betracht gezogen Elektronische Medien, ausgenommen Zusammenfassungen von Konferenzberichten.

Artikelbearbeitungsgebühren (APC)

Die Zeitschrift für Kinder- und Jugendgesundheit ist eigenfinanziert und erhält keine Mittel von irgendeiner Institution/Regierung. Daher arbeitet die Zeitschrift ausschließlich durch die Bearbeitung der Gebühren, die sie von den Autoren und einigen akademischen/Unternehmenssponsoren erhält. Als Open-Access-Verlag erhebt die Zeitschrift keine Abonnementgebühren von den Lesern, um den kostenlosen Online-Zugriff auf die Artikel zu ermöglichen. Autoren sind daher verpflichtet, für die Bearbeitung ihrer Artikel eine angemessene Bearbeitungsgebühr zu zahlen. Autoren sind erst dann zur Zahlung verpflichtet, wenn ihr Manuskript zur Veröffentlichung angenommen wurde. Die genannten Bearbeitungsgebühren für Artikel sind Grundgebühren und diese Gebühren können je nach umfangreicher Bearbeitung, Farbeffekten, komplexen Gleichungen und zusätzlicher Verlängerung von Nr. variieren. Anzahl der Seiten des Artikels und basierend auf der Finanzierung usw.

Widerrufsbelehrung für Autoren

Von Zeit zu Zeit möchte ein Autor möglicherweise ein Manuskript zurückziehen, nachdem er es eingereicht hat. Es ist das Vorrecht eines Autors, seine Meinung zu ändern, und es steht einem Autor frei, einen Artikel kostenlos zurückzuziehen, sofern er innerhalb von 5 Tagen nach seiner ersten Einreichung zurückgezogen wird. Danach fallen für alle zurückgezogenen Artikel 40 % der tatsächlichen APC als Rücknahmegebühr an . Wenn Sie Bedenken oder Fragen dazu haben, kontaktieren Sie uns bitte für weitere Gespräche. Rabattpolitik

Wenn Sie nicht über die Mittel zur Zahlung der Artikelbearbeitungsgebühren verfügen, haben Sie die Möglichkeit, von Zeit zu Zeit Preisnachlässe zu erhalten, sofern Sie uns hierfür einen triftigen Grund nennen. Wir möchten nicht, dass Gebühren die Veröffentlichung wertvoller Arbeiten verhindern.

Die durchschnittliche Artikelbearbeitungszeit (APT) beträgt 30–45 Tage.

Erstellung von Manuskripten

Manuskripte sollten aus den folgenden Unterteilungen bestehen: Titelseite, Zusammenfassung, Einleitung, Materialien und Methoden, Ergebnisse/Beobachtungen, Diskussion, Danksagungen, Referenzen, Tabellen, Abbildungen und Legenden. Alle Manuskripte sollten in englischer Sprache verfasst sein und alle Seiten beginnend mit der Titelseite fortlaufend nummerieren.

Titelblatt

Das Titelblatt sollte den vollständigen Titel des Manuskripts, den/die Namen des Autors/der Autoren, die Adresse des Instituts, an dem die Arbeit durchgeführt wurde, den laufenden Titel sowie den Namen und die Adresse des Autors enthalten, an den die Korrespondenz gesendet werden soll. Es müssen 3-8 Schlüsselwörter enthalten sein.

Abstrakt

Die Zusammenfassung sollte 250 Wörter nicht überschreiten. Es sollte in vollständigen Sätzen verfasst sein und sachliche Informationen enthalten.

Abkürzungen

Die Abkürzungen und Symbole sollten den Empfehlungen zu Einheiten, Symbolen und Abkürzungen folgen: in „A Guide for Biological and Medical Editors and Authors (The Royal Society of Medicine London 1977)“.

Verweise

A list of all the references cited in the text should be given at the end of the manuscript. The references should be cited according to the Vancouver agreement. They should be numbered consecutively in the order in which they are first mentioned in the text. Identify references in the text by Arabic numerals [in square brackets]. Authors must check and ensure the accuracy of all references cited. All authors should be cited. Abbreviations of titles of medical periodicals should conform to those used in the latest edition of Index Medicus. The volume of the periodical should be followed by the page number of each reference cited. Some examples are shown below:

Tables

Do not submit tables as photographs or scanned documents. Number tables consecutively in the order of their first citation in the text and supply a brief title for each. The tables should be typed on separate sheets. Place explanatory details as footnotes. Give each column a short or abbreviated heading.

Figures

All figures should be listed together. Figures should not exceed 16.5 x 22.0 cm and should be numbered. For the reproduction of illustrations, only good quality drawings and original photographs can be accepted. When possible, group several illustrations on one page for reproduction. Photomicrographs should have internal scale markers. Symbols, arrows, or letters used in the photomicrographs should contrast with the back­ground. Electronically submitted b/w half-tone and color illustrations must have a final resolution of 300 dpi after scaling, and 800-1200 dpi for line drawings.

Galley proofs

Unless indicated otherwise, galley proofs will be sent to the corresponding author and should be returned within 48 hours of receipt.

Reprints

Reprints may be purchased. Order for supply of reprints may be sent while returning the galley proofs after corrections. No reprint/s will be supplied free of charge. Reprint Order Form and Price List will be sent with the galley proofs.

Referees

Generally, submitted manuscripts are sent to one experienced referee from our panel. The contributors may submit names of three qualified reviewers who have had experience in the subject of the submitted manuscript, but are not associated with the same institution(s) as the contributors nor have published manuscripts with the contributors in the past 10 years.

Ethics

When reporting experiments on human subjects, indicate whether the procedures followed were in accordance with the ethical standards of the responsible committee on human experimentation (institutional or regional) and with the Helsinki Declaration of 1975, as revised in 2000 (http://www.wma.net/en/30publications/10policies/b3/). Do not use patients' names, initials, or hospital numbers, especially in illustrative material. When reporting experiments on animals, indicate whether the institution’s or a national research council's guide for, or any national law on the care and use of laboratory animals was followed.

Statistics

When possible, quantify findings and present them with appropriate indicators of measurement error or uncertainty (such as confidence intervals). Report losses to observation (such as dropouts from a clinical trial). Put a general description of methods in the Methods section. When data are summarized in the Results section, specify the statistical methods used to analyse them. Avoid non-technical uses of technical terms in statistics, such as 'random' (which implies a randomising device), 'normal', 'significant', 'correlations', and 'sample'. Define statistical terms, abbreviations, and most symbols.

After approving premium Individual/Institutional membership, there is a benefit to authors who are willing to publish their valuable manuscripts into this Journal, that is they can publish their articles for free untill the end of membership period (1 Year/ 3 Years/ 5 Years). Membership is now available for the universities/institutes/individuals/students/scientific societies.

Additional Policies

Discontinued Journals

Journals that become discontinued for any reason will remain archived on the Journal's website indefinitely. These discontinued journals will be open to the general public and continue to be available in various indexes and repositories.

Retractions and Corrections

Should any paper need to be removed from a Journal that has already been published, that paper will be removed from the PDF version of the Journal in such a way that it does not change the page/pdf numbers of other papers published in that issue of the Journal. The authors of the removed manuscript may be subject to republication fees (if applicable). Corrected versions of the Journal will be made available on the Journal website, as well as all applicable indexes.

Corrections that need to be made to an already published Journal will be handled in such a way that it does not affect any of the other papers published in that issue. If the correction stems from author error, a republication fee may apply. Corrections due to publisher error will be handled without charge. Corrected versions of the Journal will be made available on the Journal website, as well as all applicable indexes.

Advertising

Decisions regarding advertising in a Journal are made by the Executive Director. Advertising that may be suitable include, but are not limited to: Higher education institutions, research organizations, publishing companies, academic organizations, writing assistance and translation services, journal indexing companies, conference organizers, event coordinators and the like. Types of advertising currently accepted include image and text ads placed on the Journal website, as well as image and text ads included in the body of the Journal itself.

Fast Editorial Execution and Review Process (FEE-Review Process):

Zeitschrift für Kinder- und Jugendgesundheit is participating in the Fast Editorial Execution and Review Process (FEE-Review Process) with an additional prepayment of $99 apart from the regular article processing fee. Fast Editorial Execution and Review Process is a special service for the article that enables it to get a faster response in the pre-review stage from the handling editor as well as a review from the reviewer. An author can get a faster response of pre-review maximum in 3 days since submission, and a review process by the reviewer maximum in 5 days, followed by revision/publication in 2 days. If the article gets notified for revision by the handling editor, then it will take another 5 days for external review by the previous reviewer or alternative reviewer.

Acceptance of manuscripts is driven entirely by handling editorial team considerations and independent peer-review, ensuring the highest standards are maintained no matter the route to regular peer-reviewed publication or a fast editorial review process. The handling editor and the article contributor are responsible for adhering to scientific standards. The article FEE-Review process of $99 will not be refunded even if the article is rejected or withdrawn for publication.

Der entsprechende Autor bzw. die entsprechende Institution/Organisation ist für die Zahlung der Manuskriptgebühr für den Begutachtungsprozess verantwortlich. Die zusätzliche Zahlung für den FEE-Review-Prozess deckt die schnelle Verarbeitung von Rezensionen und schnelle redaktionelle Entscheidungen ab. Die regelmäßige Veröffentlichung von Artikeln deckt die Vorbereitung in verschiedenen Formaten für die Online-Veröffentlichung ab und sichert die Aufnahme des Volltextes in eine Reihe permanenter Archive wie HTML, XML und PDF. und Weitergabe an verschiedene Indexierungsagenturen.
